Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus)
One record from Gleevink Bay in western New Guinea of the race lucionensis, presumably a vagrant from Southeast Asia.
Note black mask, with white on forehead forming a pale line above the mask. Immature has fine barring on flanks and underparts; in all plumages has dark wings and tail.
