Your URLStats are representative of various things. Following is a list of those things: Think of your website as a city. If you are only counting the visits to the first house, does that reflect a true representation of the visits to your city? Not really. Suppose many people do not visit the first house but instead go directly to the second and succeeding houses. You wouldn't be counting those visits at all. Also be aware that the urlstats counter allows one hit counted per gif, jpeg etc. If you have 5 gifs on your page, your count will be 6. As well, the urlstats counter counts only once per visit due to system caching, so if someone moves from page to page, they won't count again unless they press '^r' to repload the site. Then they would count again.
