[ FRAM Workshop | Introduction | Program | Participants | Travel | Hotel ]
Participants of the FRAM Workshop (21-22
May 2008) are advised to stay the Lord
Nelson Hotel,
and are advised to book
early while rooms are still available. The Lord Nelson is a four-star
hotel, downtown, and the closest hotel to the workshop, a pleasant 20-30
minute walk. A discount rate is available, $159 / night for a Traditional
Room. Mention the "FRAM Workshop" when making your
reservation. Reservations may be cancelled free of charge until 1 pm the day
before arrival, so people may as well book early. The hotel offers guests
free access to a business office, which is equipped with computers, powerpoint, printers, and internet access. High-speed
internet is available in rooms for a small charge. The Lord Nelson faces the Halifax Public Gardens.
